剧情没看明白，歌利亚在哪？龙在哪？除了片名之外，这片儿的质量其实还可以，问题在于这片儿的奇幻题材和简陋的布景严重冲突。大型神话故事被拍成了村长争夺战。

史诗片要拍糟很容易，如这部中大力神战龙，无论是剑还是龙都很失败，但其中一幕挖出龙的眼珠，感觉上却很成功...另外一个亮点是女主角，她实在是很漂亮，让片子的质感瞬间不同..服装就中规中矩，古罗马士兵的服装虽然质感不济，但细节却还算是到位。加分点在选角和表演上。
