When the young Texas Ranger, John Reid, is the sole survivor of an ambush arranged by the militaristic outlaw leader, Butch Cavendich, he is rescued by an old childhood Comanche friend, Tonto. When he recovers from his wounds, he dedicates his life to fighting the evil that Cavendich represents. To this end, John Reid becomes the great masked western hero, The Lone Ranger. 小时候看到外国人戴眼罩的就定义为“佐罗”。
跟《独行侠》可能来源于同一传说。剧情很简单，银弹银马受过印第安熏陶的侠士救了总统，打击了土匪恶霸。80年代记忆。★★★☆
动作场面拍的都还不错，那些飞车腾跃、拔枪射杀的戏份完成的都很好，在80年代有明显的突破，那只白马也真的跟演员一样很会演。作为摄影师兼职的导演，片里加了不少设计的大逆光镜头还有精选的西部外景，这些都保证了看点，但是剧本太弱了，完全套路的故事，剪辑上也不俭省，看睡着了一次。
小时候好喜欢的经典西部游侠片，童志荣配音的游侠响亮叫着自己的坐骑银子的声音是多么动人呐，记忆中游侠跟印第安人的友情很感人哦。可惜再看，老片真不清晰啊。真遗憾。
电影是粗糙了点，情节也显得有点儿戏，但看着还可以，毕竟套路片的鼻祖。威廉退尔也挺好听挺有气氛的。
前一半不错，后一半引入了美国总统，变成类似天朝的主旋律片了.背景音乐用得太俗套了，貌似是马赛进行曲，背景音乐配得太次了。
2.5，听到主题音乐，这不是当年看过的老动画孤胆骑侠真人版么，前面还好高潮部分真的是太平淡。
叙事的时间线拉得很长，不同于过去西部片中印第安人、白人牛仔和美国骑兵的人物设定。从1956年开始，西部片中出现的独行侠形象就和印第安伙伴相伴，这部电影应该算是独行侠电影的前传。
插曲《他正归来（He's Coming Back）》 打得你浑身是窟窿
这片子拿了几个金酸梅 和《邮差》一样让人对金酸梅的评判标准非常疑惑 片子虽不算多好 但也不是太烂 标准的西部片流程 约翰巴里的配乐很不错啊 居然也拿了金酸梅 这奖有时真是不靠谱

好像1984年左右看的，记得那时才上小学三年级，快三十年了，当时觉得很好啊，记得有一句话“跑吧，银子”，童年的记忆，难以忘怀
真的是烂片。但是片中的tonto是我从小喜欢印第安人的起源
