Disheartened when his story about Canadian snipers possibly mutilating corpses in Afghanistan is buried, Luke (Nick Stahl) quits his job but is even more determined to return to Afghanistan to get the real story. With his offbeat buddy, Tom (Nicolas Wright), tagging along, Luke returns to Afghanistan and intends to gather enough evidence to get his old story into print. But he soon finds that the country is an even more dangerous place than when he left. To make matters worse, his old friend and fixer, Mateen (Stephen Lobo) has been hired away by Luke's journalistic nemesis, Imran Sahar (Vik Sahay). 接地气的片子没撒大场面，还原一个真实的阿富汗，上天遗弃之地。

喜欢阿富汗的题材
果然拍的不是观众爱看的东西，一个一瓶子不满三分之一瓶子咣当的电影。

上海电影节的展影片 拍的还是不够细腻
没有永远的敌人，只有未来的联盟。
蛮有深意的，即展现了一个记者为他所热爱的职业的执着又展现了现实世界中不得不面对的无奈
坦率说，我给三星，在UME看完的。。。出来的时候碰到Q&A时间，里面那个阿富汗演员给我们解答。。。其实他是加拿大人。。首先我感觉表演挺不专业的。。一问，这个电影只用了4个星期拍完。。。本来可以很深刻的题目，没有拍出厚重感。一问之下，原来确实是小成本制作，也就不难理解了。

笑点太对路了! 可惜节奏有问题 像在看rough cut一样 主线也单薄 好在穿插其间的小段子小人物够有趣~ (立志拯救中东嘻哈界的小叔子长得像schwartzman! [嘉年华]以后就没见过这么灰头土脸的stahl 特喜欢他声音了! mateen真人好帅! @SIFF
