In the period prior to World War One Matthew Armitage is a house guest of the Carslake family for a weekend party, and, in the mirror, sees an image of Sylvia, the daughter of the house, being throttled by a man with a scarred neck - just as Sylvia's fiance is similarly scarred. Matthew fights in the war and afterwards returns,scarred mentally and physically, to marry Sylvia. He becomes irrationally jealous of her and realises that he is the man whose face he saw in the mirror. 有悬念但也不是那么有悬念。不太喜欢男主后期的样子
阿加莎悬疑剧场之一，蛮有趣的一部，虽然你一开始就知道悬疑点，但还是值得看到结尾
本来以为是推理，结果成了带有感情纠葛的灵异，和心理预期不太相符，打心眼里不喜欢疑心病重，管东管西，还对女人动手的男人
扼紧喉咙不是恨是爱
“阿加莎·克里斯蒂悬疑剧场”系列削弱推理成分，都具有一定灵异玄幻成分，非常契合年代特征；心灵的幻象不仅来自于爱，也可能来自于恨。
S01E02，英字，阿婆原著，不推理有灵异，弹震症情感故事糅合镜子预言元素，女主真吃香，阿婆发慈悲给了美好结局，不晓得原著是否如此，
