一位失業離婚的父親到青少年兒子的足球隊上擔任教練，但這將會是個艱鉅的任務。 這組球隊在聯盟表現總吊車尾，沒有人，就連他自己的兒子都不相信他能帶領整支足球隊起死回生，獲得冠軍。
Divorced father without custody Torben, a former pro soccer player, concentrates on his talented son David's juniors poorly performing team. When the coach suddenly accepts another position, Torben gets his change 'for the time being'. He becomes a substitute father for several of the boys.
