The 1979 class of Porter Gaud School in Charleston, South Carolina graduated 49 boys. Within the last 35 years, six of them have committed suicide. 如果說《追捕弗雷德曼家族》是眾說紛紜、撲所迷離的話，那這部《什麼困擾我們》是難得的實錘。暗處有什麼，童年創傷後怎麼辦是個極為沉重的話題。在我看來，本片最大的亮點是藉助剪輯將事件中的受害者、律師跨越10年多前的採訪和如今的採訪連接到一塊去。倒是導演的部分出鏡顯得有點矯枉過正。而片尾那些新聞標題摘要也是讓人感到吃驚。
