The story of the West German Stasi agent Bea Kanter: As a young student in Frankfurt in the 1970s, she was recruited by the Ministry of State Security as a "perspective agent". Over the next 16 years, we see how she is moving her place of study from Frankfurt to politically unsuspicious Cologne. After graduation, she receives a job at the Federal Foreign Office and regularly provides information to the GDR. It wasn't until the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 that their camouflage was revealed.
