这基本是一部靠对白来推进的电影，大量的紧凑景别和固定机位，情节在台词中发展。但是既没有林克莱特的妙趣，在探讨中年人的性与情感方面，也没有伍迪艾伦的那种余味。表演也不够迷人。是一部较无聊的轻喜剧小品。
