Peter Sellers stars as Harold Fine, a self-described square--a 35-year-old Los Angeles Lawyer who is not looking forward to middle age and his upcoming wedding. His life changes, however, when he falls in love with Nancy, a free-spirited, innocent, and beautiful young hippie. After Harold and his family enjoy some of her "groovy" brownies, he decides to "drop out" with her and become a hippie too. 关于律师先生在嬉皮生活与现有生活之间摇摆的喜剧。拍摄时也许有点纪念当时刚刚离世不久的爱丽丝.托克拉斯的意思，但与托克拉斯的关系不大：女主角按托克拉斯的食谱做了很“好吃”的布朗尼，律师先生还说托克拉斯把自己的父母变成了“junkies”。原来最早在布朗尼里面加“料”的食谱来自托克拉斯？
